Trump Is Kicking Sand On Teddy Kennedy

The Washington Post—The Boston Herald ran a very scary-sounding story by Matt Stout about mass defections from the Democratic Party to support Trump.
So why has Trump found so much traction here? Possibly because no presidential candidate has so perfectly channeled the voice and spirit of a loudmouthed Massachusetts sports fan calling into WEEI to tell the world what’s what.
“People follow politics in this state like they follow the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics,” said Geoff Diehl, a state representative and the first elected official in Massachusetts to endorse Trump. “More than anything else, voters here want to know a politician is a fighter and that he has their back.”
Go to Mul’s Diner—an old, low-slung greasy spoon in South Boston—at 7:30 on a Friday morning and you’ll find the place packed with folks looking for just that kind of pugilist.
Norm Decoteau, a thickset man with a camouflage hat and a handlebar mustache, asserts that Trump might be “an idiot, but he’s smart enough to bring good people under him.” [Emphasis added]
Toni Monkovic noted, “It’s as if he emerged from the surf in Hyannis Port, intercepted a touch football pass and kicked sand on a Kennedy.”
The working-class in America have borne the burden of the policies of Democrats, and to a great extent Republicans, that have failed them over and over.  The disappointment and frustration with our elected officials began to build inexorably after Ronald Reagan left office.

We fired RINOs in 2010, 2012 and again in 2014.  We’ve tried every measure to make known our absolute opposition to their cockamamie policies.  That is the reason that Eric Cantor went down in flames, the Gang of Eight bill didn’t pass and John Boehner is no longer Speaker of the House.

What the hell is going on in the state that reelected the murderer of Mary Jo Kopechne?  Teddy Kennedy, the fourth-longest serving senator in US history, must be spinning in his grave.

Although Miss Kopechne could not be reached for comment, one must assume she is happy for the first time since 1969.
