ManBearPig And The 10-Year Countdown To A Planetary Emergency

PARIS—Following the opulent climate change conference (COP21), Al Gore AKA ManBearPig issued the following statement:

“Today, the nations of the world concluded a bold and historic agreement, clearly demonstrating that the global community is speaking with one voice to solve the climate crisis. Years from now, our grandchildren will reflect on humanity’s moral courage to solve the climate crisis and they will look to December 12, 2015, as the day when the community of nations finally made the decision to act.”

Man-made climate change—most especially the notion that global temperatures can be turned on and off by tiny alterations in the quantities of the trace gas carbon dioxide—is nothing more than a green fantasy being used as an excuse for a money making scam by corporate shysters, a wealth redistribution scheme by the Third World, and as a power grab by one world government freaks.

“Global warming” and the subsequent term “climate change” our betters on the Left now insist we use to refer to the weather is one of the most egregious political and scientific hoaxes in history.  Judith Curry, former Chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology lost her faith in the alarmist establishment when they were caught red-handed conspiring to withhold scientific information from their peers in what would come to be called the Climategate email scandal.

Sallie Baliunas, an astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, was savagely disparaged by her peers for questioning so-called “consensus” climate science.

Caleb Rossiter, a left-leaning statistician at American University, spoke out against the alarmists when he discovered that their statistics were junk and that the measures being introduced to “combat” climate change were harming the world’s poorest.  His fellowship at the US Institute for Policy Studies was subsequently terminated.

Now, before you zone out and your eyes glaze over, just know that the point of this story is to warn you, via Anthony Watts at WattsUpWithThat?, that ManBearPig’s clarion call that we were all going to be roasted alive in his proclamation 10 years ago isn’t going to happen.

So climate change deniers take heart.  As Anthony cleverly quips, “Gaia seems to be a ‘Gore denier’. How inconvenient.”
